I went to a conference and learned about Copyright Law in the Classroom. Here are some great links I’d like to share with you:

Copyright Free Materials - public domain and Creative Commons material (I HAVE NOT SCREENED FOR INAPPROPRIATE MATERIAL!!!)
- Flickr’s Creative Commons Pool: Browse through the images provided by Flickr users who have chosen to offer their pictures under a Creative Commons license. A Flickr Advanced Search also allows you to search for these images easily.

- Flickr Free Use Photos Photo sharing, no attribution necessary
- Beholdcc Use the boxes before you search to select licensing
- openphoto: Free stock images. Use categories on the right to browse or click on search in the top bar
- Flickr Storm (select appropriate Creative Common license from pull-down menu)
- BurningWell (public domain, high resolution photos)
- US Government Photos and Multimedia Most materials is in the public domain, but read the disclaimers.
- Library of Congress Photo Stream on Flickr
- Wikimedia Commons: A database of 14 freely usable media files to which anyone can contribute.
- Common Content an open catalog of Creative Commons licensed content
- Creative Commons Search Flickr, Yahoo!, Google, OWL Music Search, SpinXpress, and BlipTV to “find Creative Commons-licensed media that you can legally share and reuse for free”
